A practical test before committing
- Record your current skills, difficulty and equipment so you can compare the same conditions.
- Try a short run. If mana repeatedly empties, check your skill costs and recovery before adding more casts.
- If you die before finishing the run, keep the setup that survives while you inspect defensive options.
- Change one skill or item at a time. Compare completion, deaths and time rather than trusting a single damage number.

The official October 5 update narrows the spread of Frozen Barrage’s extra Ice Shards, helping them hit one target. It also adds Grand skill runes and a Training Grounds DPS meter. Use the dummy for a controlled damage comparison, then check survival in a real run; these changes do not prove lightning is best.
