Quick answer

Deskrawl uses the Steam Market for trading. Check character mode and the item’s tradable status first; not every drop is eligible. This guide gives access checks, not prices or investment advice.

What the official description confirms

The Steam Store lists trading for equipment, materials and minions. That describes the feature; it does not establish that every item can be sold.

Check before trying to trade

  • The market reference says you need an online character. Offline characters cannot trade.
  • Inspect whether the item is marked tradable. Launch players report many ordinary drops are not.
  • Read the current unlock prompt. The level and gold cost in early reports are not treated as a universal rule here.

The September 30 access change

Patch 1.0.0h says online mode requires your own copy. It says Family Sharing, Free Weekend and PC café licences can still use singleplayer. Check that restriction before assuming an online connection problem is an item problem.

Bought an item but cannot find it?

The specialist reference points to the mail icon at the bottom right of the character / inventory screen for bought items. Check the active character and its mail before assuming delivery failed.
